Pet sitter caught on camera sitting naked on client’s couch, taking boyfriend into bedroom

A California pet sitter was caught sitting naked on her client’s new couch and taking her boyfriend into the bedrooms for alleged sexual encounters.

Casey Brengle, 26, has been suspended from the popular pet sitter app Wag! after she was reported by Rosie Brown.

Brown had hired Brengle to watch over her two pups, Penny and Daisy, while she was in Louisiana for her cousin’s wedding.

Brengle had more than 200 five-star reviews and, at the time, seemed like a great fit to watch over the house for four days and take Brown’s two dogs on long walks for the total price of $315.

Before she left, Brown even showed Brengle her doggie camera on the kitchen counter, which also shoots out treats.

The day of her cousin’s wedding, Brown received a notification from the camera.

‘On the preview on the alert, it showed a man in our house, someone that I wasn’t expecting, ‘Brown told KABC.

‘So I opened it up and that’s when I saw [Brengle] was there with a man in our house and they were going straight for our bedroom.’

Footage captured Brengle and her boyfriend kissing in the living room and going from the master bedroom to the guest bedroom.

At one point they are seen locking the dogs outside the master bedroom.

Brengle claims she did not have sex in either of Brown’s bedrooms.

‘It’s okay that she believes that, that’s not what was going on,’ she said.

The doggie camera also captured Brengle laying naked on Brown’s couch.

Brown spent six months saving up to buy the couch. Now she doesn’t even like to sit in her favorite spot, as it is where she saw Brengle laying without any pants on.

‘To see that video where she’s like butt-naked, sitting on it, laying on it, that was really hard because we just bought it,’ she said.

‘That actually used to be my favorite spot, right in the middle of it. I don’t really touch it.’

Brengle said she feels ‘terrible’ that Brown no longer feels comfortable sitting in her favorite spot on her own couch.

‘It was not something I did with intent or malice,’ she added.

Footage also showed Brengle’s parents visiting, despite the fact that Wag! forbids sitters from bringing anyone into the home of the ‘Pet Parent’.

Brown said that while she did allow Brown’s boyfriend to come for dinner on a previous job, she did not clear the sitter to bring any visitors while she was away at the wedding.

The camera also revealed that Brengle only took Brown’s pups out for one to five-minute potty breaks, instead of the 30 to 60-minute walks that are ordered through the app.

She was also caught calling Daisy a ‘b***h’ after the pup began playing rough with Penny.

Brengle said the dog had been ‘acting like a jerk’, but she knew her behavior hadn’t been appropriate.

‘I was frustrated, not at her, at myself, at other things,’ she said. ‘I had gotten in a fight with my mom and I agree, it was not appropriate.’

Wag! said in a statement that Brengle’s behavior was ‘unacceptable’ and contrary to the app’s ‘Community Guidelines’.

‘We expect everyone on the Wag! platform to conduct themselves professionally,’ it added.

While the company claims it does thorough background checks on its sitters, the Better Business Bureau has received more than 40 complaints about the app since September 2017.

Reports have included stolen property, walkers not showing up for scheduled walks, and walkers letting dogs loose.

It has since worked with the company to help improve its process for ‘responding to and resolving consumer complaints’.

Brown said she believes the company needs to frequently check in with its sitters no matter how many walks they’ve done.

‘How do you know a Wag! walker who’s done a thousand walks or 500 sitting sessions, how they’re doing on the 501st session?’ she said.

‘They could be a totally different person from when you last checked in with them for the background check.’

Wag! said it uses client ratings and feedback as an ‘ongoing assessment’ of its sitters.

The company has since offered to pay Brown for cleaning services and a locksmith.
