Channel Nine also confirmed that Karl and Ally would be back on-air on Monday, but declined to comment on the status of Karl’s health.

Promos for the pair’s return have already been rolled out, including one in which Karl and Ally recreate a scene from Pulp Fiction.

In the original scene from the film, Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) and Vincent Vega (John Travolta) have a dance off in the middle of a cafe, grooving along to Chuck Berry’s tune You Never Can Tell.

Karl and Ally’s colleagues were quick to have a laugh after witnessing the awkward choreography.

As the scene wraps up, an excited Karl yelps, ‘We’ve still got it Langdon.’ While Ally eagerly replies, ‘We sure do, Karl!’

Fellow Channel Nine colleagues Alex Cullen, Tim Davies and Brooke Boney are shown eating their breakfast with a look of disbelief on their faces.

The silence is then broken by entertainment reporter Brooke who chimes in with, ‘Looks like the morning’s coffee has kicked in.’
