This is the moment an elderly passenger knocked a Chinese bus driver unconscious with his shopping trolley because he thought he was driving too slowly.
CCTV footage, filmed in Harbin in Heilongjiang Province on October 25, shows the 68-year-old man swing the trolley at the driver’s head.
Local reports stated that the attacker was irate because he felt the bus was moving too slowly.
Footage shows the passenger pushing past other passengers towards the front of the bus. He lifts up his trolley and swings it at the driver’s head, knocking him out.
Reports said the elderly man lashed out after a heated argument with the driver.
The driver, identified only as Jin, was out cold for a few seconds after the blow.
After coming round, Jin called police and the elderly attacker was arrested.

The woman had missed her destination during sleep and was furious when she woke up on a different street in the southern province of Fujian.
She kicked the bus doors angrily, yelled at the transport worker before launching the assault on him while he was still driving.
Police imposed ‘criminal compulsory measures’ on the woman on suspicion of ‘endangering public security by dangerous means’.
