This is the shocking moment a lorry pushed a car sideways at least 20 metres down the M1 after it became stuck to its front bumper.
Footage recorded on Tuesday morning shows a Greg’s Couriers HGV driving down the busy motorway near Luton with a white Volkswagen VW attached to its bonnet.
A man recording the video can be seen desperately waving at the lorry driver repeatedly yelling at him: ‘F*****g stop!’
But the driver, aged 50, initially seems unaware of the unfolding incident until he pulls up next to the man recording.

The man shouts: ‘Stop you f*****g idiot!’, as he points towards the front of his truck.
The HGV driver is then seen pulling over into the hard shoulder.
Transport Manager for Greg’s Couriers, Greg Krysztofowiciz, 42, told the Mail Online: ‘I was shocked when I saw the video, but so many people are blaming my driver when it was not his fault.
‘The driver of the Volkswagen pulled in too close to the lorry when he tried to overtake him, my driver did not see him, and he swears to God he did not feel the car.’
Mr Krysztofowiciz said his driver had the radio on and only realised something was wrong when people started waving at him and that he immediately pulled over.
He said the driver of the Volkswagen was a young man aged 24 or 25.
He added: ‘Police came and performed drug and alcohol tests on my driver but he was cleared and allowed to continue on his journey as the truck was not majorly damaged.

Transport Manager for Greg’s Couriers, Greg Krysztofowiciz, 42, said people need to be extra cautious when overtaking lorries, as they can have several blind spots, including directly in front
‘My driver is of course not pleased with what happened and was shocked when he saw the video too.
‘But he is experienced and has been working for me for eight years, he of course did not do it on purpose.’
The lorry is capable of carrying 26 tons but yesterday only had a four-and-a-half ton load.
Mr Krysztofowiciz said people need to be extra cautious when overtaking lorries, as they can have several blind spots, including directly in front.
‘They are sitting so high that they cannot see right in front of the vehicle,’ he explained.
Mail Online has contacted Bedfordshire Police for comment.
It comes after Ellie Goulding came to the rescue of a driver trapped in his car as it was being pushed along one of London’s busiest dual-carriageways by a Royal Mail truck in December 2019.
Moment a Royal Mail truck was filmed as its driver unknowingly pushed along a black Volkswagen in December 2019
Singer Ellie Goulding (left, at the scene) shared the news on her Instagram account, saying the traffic collision was the ‘craziest thing I’ve seen on the road’
Staggering footage showed the articulated truck pushing a Volkswagen GTi that was stuck sideways on its front grill and bumper.
In the dramatic incident, filmed on the westbound Western Ave stretch of the A40 in London, other vehicles could be heard honking their horns whilst driving alongside the delivery truck in a bid to save the driver trapped inside of the black car.
The Starry Eyed hitmaker was in a Range Rover driving alongside the terrifying collision, and revealed how her chauffeur Guy was attempting to get the trucker’s attention.
Goulding branded the incident ‘the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on the road’, adding: ‘Everyone was just driving past but my driver Guy stopped’.
She also added that she was shocked how the first thing most of the witnesses did was bring out their phones to record the incident, and then slam the Royal Mail driver.
‘I can’t believe the first instinct of the other drivers who got out was to instantly start filming on their phones and shout abuse at the poor shocked driver, not even checking the other driver was ok,’ she said.
