SAS Australia Hell Week: Channel Seven announces new show with ‘everyday Aussies’ taking part

Channel Seven have released an explosive new trailer for a brand new SAS Australia spin-off, titled ‘Hell Week’.

Following the success of the celebrity version of the military-style challenge show, Ant Middleton and his directing staff (DS) are returning for a special new season on Monday, October 18 – but this time, with ‘everyday Australians’ at the helm.

While little is known about the upcoming series, the network’s dramatic new trailer shows a gang of unknown contestants pushing themselves to the limits in a string of gruelling challenges.

‘Being a stay at home mum, it’s never been enough for me. What else is there, what else should I be doing?’ one woman is heard saying, as the contestants drive to their camp in a bus.

But in classis SAS Australia style, the gang aren’t sitting comfortably for long – as a helicopter is seen getting closer to the bus by the second.

‘There’s a chopper!’ one of the contestants screams, before four men – believed to be the DS – are seen scrambling down ropes to hijack the vehicle.

Four more vehicles are then seen pulling up towards the coach, while the shocked contestants await instruction inside.

Ant Middleton’s voice is then heard saying: ‘Ordinary people are about to have their lives turned upside down.

‘Everyday Aussies – are you ready to go to hell and back?’

The camera then flashes to contestants jumping into water, breathlessly carrying their kit during a walk and climbing the ladder of a moving chopper.

Ant then asks, ‘Who will become extraordinary?’ before alerting viewers that SAS Australia Hell Week is ‘coming soon’ to Channel Seven.

Ant and his staff have certainly been busy this year, as they only recently started filming the new series of SAS Australia.
