Catherine Zeta-Jones hits the red carpet in a burgundy strapless gown at the 73rd Emmys

Catherine Zeta-Jones was the picture of elegance as she hit the red carpet with her Emmy-nominated husband Michael Douglas at the red carpet for the 73rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards.

The 51-year-old actress and her 76-year-old husband hit the red carpet ahead  of the ceremony, where Douglas was nominated for Lead Actor, Comedy for his work in The Kominsky Method.

Zeta-Jones also took to Instagram to share a video on the car ride to the telecast and shared some of her preparations for the awards show on her Instagram story.

Zeta-Jones hit the red carpet in a stunning strapless burgundy gown with a large slit up the leg.

She also wore an elegant diamond necklace from Lorraine Schwartz, which she showcased on her Instagram story as well. 

She completed her look with diamond earrings and matching burgundy pumps.

Douglas stepped out in a classic black suit with a white dress shirt and a light purple tie.

Michael is nominated for The Kominsky Method, going up against Anthony Anderson (Black-ish), William H. Macy (Shameless), Jason Sudeikis (Ted Lasso) and Kenan Thompson (Kenan).

The actor has 10 Emmy nominations in his storied career, winning one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Mini-Series or a Movie for his performance as Liberace in Behind the Candelabra.
