The trailer begins with Mike’s old boss Howard (Dwight Yoakam) talking about Mike’s glory days, saying he was, ‘afraid to lose you to the competition’ as we see photos and ribbons from his rodeo days.

Howard adds that he won the All-American five times, but, ‘that was a long time ago, wasn’t it? That was before the accident, before the booze. You know how many people told me to just cut you loose?’

We then get our first look at both Howard and Mike, with Howard plainly stating, ‘Well are you gonna say anything?’
