Mashroom found that 52 per cent of Britons had turned to sites like Zoopla in the past year to look at properties outside of the country and 16 per cent have admitted being addicted to ‘property porn’, with a third blaming it on the pandemic.
Fuelled by the popularity of Escape to the Chateua, France is the most-wanted location, racking up 7,000 searches from UK property hunters a month, followed by the US and Australia.
