Boy, 2, denies eating cupcakes despite being smeared in frosting in hilarious photos

This is the hilarious moment a two-year-old boy repeatedly denies eating a cupcake, despite the overwhelming evidence against him.

Tyrell Fulwood, 34, filmed his son TJ in the kitchen of their home in Charlotte,  North Carolina.

The father-of-four asks his son whether he has touched the cupcakes, which the youngster denies with confidence.

TJ Fullwood, pictured, told his father Tyrell that he was not responsible for eating a cupcake which had been left out on a worktop at their home in Charlotte, North Carolina

Unfortunately for little TJ, his claims of innocence were undermined by physical evidence.

The toddler’s face and hands were covered in frosting.

During the footage, Fullwood attempts to work out how his son managed to get to the cupcakes on the counter.

He suggests that the youngster pushed a chair to the work surface so he could clamber up onto the seat to grab an illicit cupcake.

He shows the little boy a plastic container which appears to be missing one cupcake with two more cakes looking like little hands have scooped off the frosting.

Despite the overwhelming evidence, TJ continues to assert his innocence, repeating ‘no’ to every accusation.

More than 174,000 people have liked the footage on TikTok

Mr Fullwood, a detention officer and US Air Force reservist, also has three daughters.

He told MailOnline he was surprised by what happened especially because he was filming.

‘I started recording because I wanted to send to his grandmother to blame her. Say he got this trait from her. I posted to Facebook everyone said it’s so cute, so I posted it onto TikTok and it was history from there.’

Fullwood suggested his son can be quite mischievous.

He continued: ‘You can’t turn your back on him. If he’s too quiet he has found something to get into. We do paint night at home he got into some paint. He had paint all over his face and body the couches.’

According to Fullwood, TJ still insists he is innocent, claiming his older sisters were responsible.
