Michelle Keegan is chased out of a pub as she films dramatic scenes on the set of Brassic

She’s been out and about filming in the freezing cold over the last few weeks ahead of the third series of Brassic.

And Michelle Keegan looked as busy as ever shooting action-packed scenes for the show in Yorkshire on Wednesday.

The actress, 33, who plays the single mother Erin Croft, wrapped up warm in a pale green padded jacket as she filmed a dramatic scene running out of a pub.

Costume designers had dressed the former Coronation Street star in the padded jacket, grey cuffed trousers and black combat boots.

Michelle wore her hair in a much-loved half-up-half-down style with the ends lightly curled as she energetically jumped out of the doorway, quickly followed by her co- star Joe Gilgun who plays Vinnie O’Neil.

The pair looked in full concentration as they filmed the fast-paced scene together, before taking a break and sheltering from the rain under umbrellas.

Her and Joe were also seen filming more tense scenes as they drove around together in a red and blue van earlier in the day.

Michelle has been regularly spotted donning cosy coats to keep off the Northern chill in between takes.

Like many other shows, Brassic’s filming schedule was slightly derailed by the coronavirus pandemic.

Michelle was forced to stop filming the third series of the show last year, in order to isolate, after she was exposed to COVID-19.

But, luckily, the actress didn’t actually contract the potentially deadly virus.

A source told MailOnline at the time: ‘Michelle had to take time away from the Brassic set.

‘She has once again been laying low in Essex with her husband Mark Wright.’

Mark Wright told Hello! magazine he feels ‘forever grateful’ that he has Michelle in his life, after seeing members of his family hit by the virus.

But, like a true professional, Michelle was back to work in no time.

The Brassic insider said: ‘She only missed one day of filming. But she needed to isolate after she came into contact with someone in Manchester who had it.

‘Luckily it all happened very quickly and Michelle did not return to the Brassic set before isolating. So it didn’t affect filming too much.’

‘She has spent last two weeks in total isolation. She will go back to filming at the end of this week,’ they said at the time.
