‘It has been a long time coming. This past week it has started to sink in and we are both just super excited.’

Erin had a bridal shower at The Star’s Cucina Porto in Sydney on Saturday. However, she could only invite 12 people due to restrictions.

Erin and Ben had initially planned to marry in June last year, however, they were forced to reschedule due to pandemic.

‘Rescheduling the wedding twice now has not been fun,’ Erin said.

The TV presenter said it’s hard to reschedule due to Ben’s cricketing commitments.

‘I know in the scheme of things, it’s not the most important thing, but for something like that, you have your heart set on it,’ she said.

‘And for us, our schedules change so quickly, we don’t know if Ben will even be available for certain dates.’

‘I didn’t want to forego that big celebration I envisioned my entire life for my wedding,’ she said on the morning show.

‘I’m ready to wait until we know family and friends are safely under the same roof.’
