Talking ahead of the show start on Sunday, Myleene said: ‘When else would I get this chance? I’m a mum of three, a step-mum of two, there’s seven of us in our blended family.
‘When else would a mum like me get the chance to learn a new skill. And I spent all of lockdown teaching children and teaching my music classes that went viral and now it’s time for me to learn a new skill.’
Myleene hilarious added: ‘And to be able to walk away with a bum like J-Lo’s… that’s the real reason I’m here, I am going to work so hard!’
Despite her plans for a peachy posterior, the musician also admitted that she is ‘terrified’ of getting her piano fingers ‘rolled over’.

Keep the cold at bay like Myleene wearing a Duvetica coat
Anyone else finding this ever-changing weather hard to dress for? Well, one sartorial piece that’ll see you through no matter what the day brings is a puffer coat.
Worn by Kendall Jenner, Coleen Rooney and Kaia Gerber, the trend for oversized cocoon coats is a reliable one as they can be worn with any ensemble. Case in point: Myleene Klass.
We spotted the presenter out and about in a cosy coat by Duvetica. Designed with puffy panels in classic black, the longline coat is finished with a hood and side zips.
Her exact coat may not be up for grabs, but you can replicate Myleene by clicking through to Yoox (right) to shop a similar coat by the brand. Alternatively, peruse the look-alikes we’ve rounded up below from Mackage, Mountain Warehouse and COS.

She said: ‘Oh, I’m terrified of all of it! I’m terrified of my piano fingers getting rolled over. I don’t know why that’s a recurring fear but it just is.
‘I think any time I’ve done a concert I’ve had to sign an indemnity insurance clause and I’ve had to sign all of these things that look after my fingers and now I’m actually in the line of fire I feel like I’m really going to have to look after my fingers.
‘By the nature of what it is I feel quite protective over my fingers. As a pianist I have to look after my fingers but I also have to life my life and I love the fact that I’m going to walk away with a new skill, new butt and fabulous wardrobe!’
Myleene added that the only other thing she has done as scary, was her stint on I’m A Celebrity in 2006.
Sensational figure: Jennifer, 51, left fans around the world aghast, as she showed off her incredibly age-defying figure in all its glory during a recent vacation to Turks and Caicos
She said: ‘I did the jungle and I remember when they asked me what my fear was I said dying.
‘I thought if I say rats or spiders or snakes they’re going to land those on my head but it turned out they locked me in a coffin anyway so I’ve done that!’
Newly released images of the ITV show’s studios last week saw large screens placed in front of the judges chairs to shield Ashley Banjo, John Barrowman, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Studio first look: The new series of the ITV skating show will see the judges protected by perspex screens and no studio audience amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic
The judging panel will also be sat far apart, keeping in line with social distancing measures.
For the first time in its history the studio at Bovingdon Airfield in Hertfordshire will have no audience, a move mirroring that of Strictly Come Dancing.
The skating celebrities will also watch each other perform from socially-distanced tables to keep everyone safe from COVID-19.
Dancing On Ice 2021 starts this Sunday at 6pm on ITV.
