Two men die in east London home as police quiz female murder suspect, 28

A murder investigation is under way after two men died at a house in east London this morning.

Officers, along with paramedics from the London Ambulance, rushed to a property in Ilford at around 4.24am following reports of a ‘disturbance’.

The men were found seriously injured at the property and died at the scene, the Metropolitan Police said.

Today horrified neighbours described being awoken by the sounds of a woman screaming for help and going back and forth from an address.

The woman, who had non life-threatening injuries, was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital for treatment. A Taser was used during her arrest, the force said.

A neighbour Kuddus Miah, 44, said: ‘Last night just after four at about 4:30am. We woke up to a woman screaming.

‘Through a neighbour, who lives opposite, we heard the woman was screaming.

‘I saw her getting arrested and put in a police van and then they put her on a stretcher and into an ambulance. I heard the lady screaming inside the ambulance.’

He added: ‘Apparently they were new tenants in that house. Heard they both died on the scene and it was sealed off.

‘It’s devastating, it’s unheard of here. I have been living here for 15 years and we have never had anything like this.

‘Apparently she was coming in and out of the house and screaming ”help, help, help, call the police.”
