RuPaul’s Drag Race: Australian version starts out filming this month

An Australian version of RuPaul’s Drag Race is set to begin output this month, Daily Mail can specifically reveal.

The clearly show will hit screens in late 2021, but it’s unclear if it am going to air on free-to-air television, Foxtel or a streaming platform.

Filming will commence in New Zealand on January 29, most likely because unpredictable Covid-19 situation in Australia.

Despite being filmed found in New Zealand, the show has always been titled RuPaul’s Drag Race Australia  and will feature both Aussie as well Kiwi queens.

An origin told Daily Mail Australia: ‘It’s 100 per cent going ahead. Queens have been cast and they’ve authorized NDAs [non-disclosure agreements] to continue to keep it hush-hush. ‘ 

Body fat word so far on whether RuPaul Charles himself will host the main show, like he does the Caribbean and American versions.

But it’s not beyond the realms of possibility, as his husband, Georges LeBar, is an Aussie as well as regularly visits his in-laws Out of.

Stated cast members include Sydney’s Counter Faire, Felicia Foxx and Cocorota Jumbo, as well as Brisbane’s Scarlett High temperature and Sellma Soul.

Newcastle’s Jojo Zaho and Melbourne’s Karen from Finance, Sabrina to Art Simone are also tipped to fully grow in.

Superfan Joel Creasey is also stated to be joining as a panelist.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is already a huge success in the U. Ings., having received a record-breaking thrity four Emmy nominations.

Excellent total of nine wins, including Outstanding Reality-Competition Program and Good Host for a Reality-Competition Program.

The format involves lug queens competing for a $100, 1000 prize by taking part in various tensions each week.
