Siphon Ten producer hints Survivor will be featured in Australia

I’m a Celebrity … Get My home Out of Here! Australia and The Attractive race were filmed locally this christmas.

And it seems, Australian  Survivor may also be filmed Down Under with 2021 due to coronavirus-related travel prohibitions.

Channel 10’s industrial producer Stephen Tate has said currently the network is ‘working on getting the show  mass produced locally’ following the success of I’m A Celebrity and Amazing Race filming all over Australian locations.

‘What 2020 has taught us as if you see a window to getting a Fox tv show made you have to take it, ‘ that they told The Sydney Morning Herald  on Sunday.

‘We’ve managed to get I’m A Celebrity made, we’ve managed to get Amazing Race made in Australia. We’re currently working on getting Survivor made locally.’

Mr Tate went on to say: ‘While we’ve struggled, the Australian production community is really benefiting from the amount of production that is happening at home.’

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Australia was forced to film locally this year due to coronavirus-related travel restrictions.

The forthcoming season shifted production from South Africa to Northern New South Wales.

The Australian production took over the set used previously by the UK version of the reality TV show.

The Amazing Race was also localised this year after international travel was off the cards due to the global pandemic.

As reported by  TV Tonight   concerned with November 21, network boss Beverley McGarvey said: ‘The Amazing Competition Australia finished filming on the holiday weekend. ‘

‘The foot that I have seen so far is fabulous. It really showcases our beautiful you really and the teams competing this year are undoubtedly competitive, creative and very diverse. ‘

Australian Survivor’s quite three seasons have been filmed for Fiji, but it could soon discover new home somewhere locally.
