Julianne Hough rocks a cozy cream sweater as she grabs coffee and goes shopping with her mom in LA

Julianne Hough is having a chilled out holiday day with her mom Marriann by her side.

On Friday the 32-year-old Footloose actress stepped out in Studio City to grab some coffee and indulge in a little retail therapy on Christmas Day.

Rocking a cozy cream sweater and a pair of boyfriend jeans she looked at ease to be with family.

Leaning into a Los Angeles winter, Hough paired the jeans and sweater look with a pair of suede brown heeled boots.

Balancing coffee in one hand and some bags in the other she strutted across the street.

The KINRGY founder rocked a patterned face mask and kept her light brown tresses slicked back into a ponytail.

She carried a black Chanel bag as her mom matched her vibe in a fuzzy pink sweater and jeans with a pair of brown flats.

On Saturday Hough posted a selfie of she and her mom as they continued their matching streak in pajamas.

Marriann was seen helping her around the home as she posted videos of their hang on social media.

In the spring Hough surprised her mom with the ultimate Mother’s Day gift as she bought her a house in Los Angeles so she could be close to she and her Dancing With The Stars brother Derek Hough.

This year Hough’s romantic life has made headlines.

Filing for divorce from husband of nearly three years, ice hockey player Brooks Laich, in November – after contemplating doing so since taking space in May – Hough went forward with the process.

‘We have lovingly and carefully taken the time we have needed to arrive at our decision to separate,’ they told People in the spring.

Quarantining separately after hitting a rough patch, the future of the pair was uncertain as they both expressed that they loved each other, but ultimately she legally filed for divorce.

Though notoriously linked to Ryan Seacrest from 2010 to 2013, her other ex-boyfriend Chuck Wicks opened up about their relationship on his podcast Talk To Chuck on December 17.

Speaking out about their breakup in 2009 after a year of dating, Wicks said behind the scenes it was messy though they opted to lie to the media about the split being amicable.

‘Everybody wants to know why and I found myself doing a CMA red carpet and we made a pact together to basically lie, to say, “No, we just wanted to part ways, everything’s fine”,’ he said.

He added, ‘It wasn’t fine. S**t hit the fan. I’m not going to throw anybody under the bus but…it wasn’t my fault.’

Opening up about her sexuality in 2019 which may have had a hand in her messy love life with men, she told Laich she was not straight.

‘I (told him), “You know I’m not straight, right?” And he was like, “I’m sorry, what?” I was like, “I’m not. But I choose to be with you”,’ she told Women’s Health

Growing up in a Mormon household, Hough’s sexual awakening came after years of seeming to conceal a part of her identity, only getting the strength to do so when she married Laich.

‘There’s no fear of voicing things that I’ve been afraid to admit or that I’ve had shame or guilt about because of what I’ve been told or how I was raised,’ she said.
