A woman has decided to ditch modern clothing in favour of wearing 19th century fashion after falling in love with vintage styles through historical re-enactments.

Speaking to MailOnline, she said: ‘The first pieces in this style appeared in my everyday wardrobe eight years ago. Before that, I only wore historical models of clothes for historical festivals, thematic re-enactment meetings and balls.
‘In the last two years, I have completely switched to clothes styled according to the fashion of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.’

She posts regular pictures on her Instagram account @your_sunny_flowers showing off her vintage dresses and outfits. The account has more than 80,000 followers

Mila first started wearing vintage clothing eight years ago when she took part in historical re-enactments
It was only two years ago that she made the decision to do away with modern clothes completely though
Mila creates her elaborate outfits through a combination of sewing them herself, finding items in second-hand shops and even purchasing select items at vintage auctions.
She initially started to transition towards her 19th century wardrobe with a blue autumn coat and from there she gradually added more vintage items.
Now, Mila uses Pinterest, Google and old magazines to gather inspiration for her vintage looks.

Mila uses her sewing skills to create her own versions of vintage fashion items as well as buying select pieces from vintage auctions
