A man was shot during a standoff with police officers at a dance school in Argentina after he stabbed his dance instructor who he’d obsessively stalked, and the center’s owner.
Police body cam video captured the moment a cop fired one shot and struck Sebastían Villareal, 30, on the leg after he attacked Julieta Antón, 26, and Sofía Bovino, 30, Monday morning in Buenos Aires.
Villareal, the only male participant in the dance class, lunged at his instructor Anton and stabbed her in the leg.
Bovino, who owns the dance studio located in the neighborhood of Palermo, told Argentine newspaper Perfil that she was handling administrative duties in another area of the studio when she heard a loud cry and ran towards the room.
When she ran in, she found him attacking Anton and heroically threw herself on top of the dance teacher to try and save her.

‘I remember kicking him and he was trying to stab Juli,’ Bovino said from her hospital bed. ‘I was trying to take it away from the hands, kicking him, everything. When we fell to the floor, I felt the impact of the knife on Juli’s leg. There was a lot of blood.’
Cops responding to the incident found Villareal stabbing Antón as Bovino was lying on top of Antón to protect her.
Villareal is seen in the video dangling the knife over the women and told the police officers to leave or that he would kill the dance school instructors.
Cops are heard in the video repeatedly ordering him to drop the knife before he was shot in the leg and subdued.
Argentine news network TN reported Wednesday that the Buenos Aires district attorney’s mental health unit determined that Villareal would be hospitalized after diagnosing him with a ‘chronic and mental psychotic disorder’ and said he was a ‘danger to himself and others.’
