Anthony Kiedis got some fresh air in Malibu while taking his dogs for a walk with his 12-year-old son Everly.

The 57-year-old Red Hot Chilli Peppers front man was spotted walking his two Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs, Katie and Sammi, on Sunday afternoon.

The father and son, along with their pups, seemed to have the street to themselves during the quarantine for the deadly coronavirus.

Kiedis was wearing a plain white t-shirt and black shorts with red Adidas running shoes, with a cloth bracelet around his wrist.

He was holding the leash of one of his pups, while his son Everly was holding the other, while wearing blue-green shorts and black Adidas sneakers.

Everly is the rock star’s only son, who he had with model Heather Christie, who he was dating from 2004 to 2008.

Kiedis is one of the founding members of the iconic rock group Red Hot Chilli Peppers, along with bassist Flea.

The group hasn’t released an album since 2016’s The Getaway, but drummer Chad Smith confirmed in a January interview with Rolling Stone that the group was recording a new album.

He also confirmed that guitar player John Frusciante has returned for the new album, after two separate stints with the group.

‘But, yes, John is back in the band, and everyone knows that. We’re psyched. The festivals are the only shows booked,’ Smith said.

‘For now, we’ll mostly be concentrating on new songs and writing a new record. We’re all real excited to make new music,’ he added.

There is no indication when the album may be ready for release, which will likely be followed by a new tour.

Bassist Flea made headlines in November, when promoting his new memoir, when he hinted at tension between him and Kiedis in an interview with The Guardian.

‘He doesn’t accept that I’m different and that things that excite me may not excite him,’ Flea explained. ‘He’s looking to be the alpha.’

However, Flea did also call Kiedis, ‘the missing link I never considered’ upon first meeting the singer, adding he was, ‘unlike anyone’ he had ever met.
