Rudy Giuliani’s bombshell letter to Ukraine leader revealed before impeachment trial

The House Intelligence Committee has released a ‘trove’ of information from indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas that includes a written push for the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens – just a day before the House plans to send over impeachment articles to the Senate.

Included are notes scribbled on Ritz Carlton stationary from the Ritz Carlton in Vienna, presumably by Parnas, who was both a client and associate of Giuliani in his efforts to pressure the new Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens.

‘Get Zalensky to announce that the Biden case will be investigated,’ reads one notation in large lettering, using another spelling President Volodymyr Zelensky’s name.

President Trump has insisted there was no pressure put on Zelensky.

A list says: 1) ‘Put together Package. 2) go to DC with package.’

The next line says: ‘do my “magic” and cut deal,’ with ‘deal’ underlined.

The third line says: ‘victoria / joe retained,’ and lists $100,000 a month. That is a reference to prominent DC lawyers Joe di Genova and Victoria Toensing, who were involved in the case. It also says ‘begin media campaign.

Also included are WhatsApp exchanges between Trump donor and congressional candidate Robert Hyde and Parnas. The men discuss now-fired U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovicth, who testified in the House.

In the March 22, 2019, Hyde write: ‘F*** that b****.’ The next day, Parnas replied with a screen grab of Fox host Laura Ingraham. Hyde responded: ‘Wow, can’t believe Trump hasn’t fired this b****. I’ll get right in that.’

The trove also includes an introductory letter from Giuliani to Zelensky on personal letterhead ‘in my capacity as a personal counsel to President Trump and with his knowledge and consent.’

The letter is May 10, right after Zelensksy’s election. He requests a personal meeting days later on a matter he doesn’t identify.

The notes mention top Trump world lobbyist Brian Ballard as well as lobbyist Robert Stryk, who runs ‘private diplomacy’ firm SPG.

Another note likely references Russian oligarch Dmitry Firtash, although the notation says ‘*Firtish Toxic*. Firtash has been fighting extradition to the U.S. to faces racketeering charges.

‘Cut deal or get dismissed,’ says another notation.’

Following his arrest, it was revealed in court that Parnas got $1 million from Firtash in $200,000 installments.

Other information also appears to connect Trump and Parnas. An October 2 email from Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow – who will be representing Trump in his impeachment trial – writes former Trump lawyer John Dowd granting permission for him to represent Parnas.

“I have discussed the issue of representation with the president,’ it says. The president consents to allowing your representation of Mr. Parnas and Mr. Fruman,’ in reference to another indicted Giuliani associate, Igor Fruman.

Trump said after the indictment that he did not now Parnas and Fruman. Parnas attorney Joseph Bondy has released numerous photos of Parnas and Trump and Parnas and Trump family members.

Another line in the notes says ‘Ukrain ledger,’ which could be an reference to the infamous black ledger detailing payments to former Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort. The ledger is part of a claim by Giuliani that it was Ukraine that committed 2016 election interference. Ukraine is currently serving a 7 1/2 year sentence after getting convicted on tax and corruption charges.
