Laughing it off: Piers Morgan has hit back at Sophia Hutchins after she criticised his line of questioning during an interview on Good Morning Britain this week
Piers asked Sophia during Wednesday’s interview: ‘So, there’s no hanky panky then?’
Sophia later ranted about the question in an
She raged: ‘What a pathetic line of questioning he had for me this morning. Totally not cool. I went on to support Caitlyn on I’m A Celebrity not deal with stupid b******t questions.’
‘Neither of us will ever do your show ever again. You have shown your true colours yet again. So disappointing.’
Not happy: Caitlyn Jenner’s partner Sophia has been busy promoting the star’s appearance on I’m A Celeb all week, but has remained coy about the exact nature of the pair’s relationship
The Lumasol CEO explained: ‘I would say that we are partners in every way, that’s what I’ve said for a long time. We do business together, I still manage her career while running my own company.
‘We have dogs together, we live together. Really, I think it comes down to that we are family at the end of the day. I think that’s been a really special connection I don’t think you find with a lot of people.
Hitting back: She hit out at Piers who questioned her about Caitlyn, 70, prompting the GMB host to tweet in retaliation: ‘Oh get over yourself…’
‘We have such a big age difference, so there’s not really a romantic sense to that relationship which I’ve said before as well. I would say it comes down to a really good partnership in business and when it comes to personal it really is family.’
During her GMB chat, Sophia called Caitlyn ‘the most selfless’ person she’s met.
She was speaking about Caitlyn’s act of kindness when she gave Ian Wright a piece of corn on Monday’s show after he, Cliff Parisi and Andy Whyment were not allowed to join the rest of the camp mates to eat roast dinner.
Sweet: Sophia gushed on Wednesday about Caitlyn and called her the ‘most selfess’ person she knows while appearing on Good Morning Britain
Of Caitlyn’s gesture of goodwill, Sophia said: ‘Caitlyn is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet, she is generous, extraordinarily generous, and extraordinarily thoughtful.
‘I was not surprised it happened, rules are meant to be broken right? And I think Caitlyn has shown us in her life that she really goes by that motto and is extraordinarily giving to everyone.
‘I mean look at the millions of dollars shes given away of her own money, her own wealth to different organisations that she’s supported.
‘So, from that to giving some guy a piece of corn in the middle of the jungle, this exemplifies who Caitlyn is as a person.’
Kind: Sophia’s comments come after the star smuggled food into the I’m A Celebrity camp for Ian Wright, when he Cliff Parisi and Andy Whyment were not allowed to eat roast dinner
Support: Sophia also spoke about how Caitlyn received a letter with a picture of her dogs, rather than her family, and said there’s ‘nothing but love’ from the Kardashian/Jenner clan
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty added that she ‘couldn’t possibly comment’ on whether she would travel to Australia to see Caitlyn.
Of her reasoning, she explained: ‘Everyone thinks I’m mooching off Caitlyn but I do have my own job and my own career that I have to focus on.
‘If my travel schedule permits it, I would love to go down there. I think we’ll have to wait and see.’
Caitlin and Sophia met through a make-up artist in 2015.
