Meghan Markle re-wears her engagement dress and coat she wore to Sandringham at Christmas

Meghan Markle has re-cycled her wardrobe – dressing in her £462 engagement dress and the coat she wore to Sandringham at Christmas, as she arrived hand-in-hand with Prince Harry for the WellChild Awards tonight

Meghan, 37, looked glamorous as she wore the £1185 camel coat by Sentaler, draped over her fitted green wool dress by P.A.R.O.S.H.

The sleeveless dress features a round neck and bow detail, while she matched her outfit with a £688 tortoiseshell scarf bag and light brown £562 Manolo Blahnik heels. Prince Harry looked similarly sleek in dark blue suit and light blue tie as they arrived at the awards holding hands.

The WellChild Awards celebrates the inspiring qualities of some of the country’s seriously ill young people and the dedication of those who go the extra mile to keep children healthy and happy, including the outstanding health, social care and education professionals.

Their appearance comes after their 10 day tour of Africa – where they visited Cape Town, Angola, Malawi and Botswana – and took their son Archie with them.

The royal couple will then attend the ceremony where The Duke will present the Award for Most Inspirational Child and deliver a speech. The Duke of Sussex became Patron of WellChild in 2007

The Duchess wore her long locks down and slightly wavy as she arrived at the event with Prince Harry – who became Patron of WellChild in 2007.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend a pre-ceremony reception where they will meet the young winners of each award category and their families, and the nominated healthcare professionals.

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children and their families. Over 100,000 children and young people are living with serious and complex health conditions. Many require round-the-clock support and can spend months, if not years, in hospital because there isn’t the support to get them home.

The Duchess of Sussex looked incredibly chic as she stepped out to the WellChild Awards.

The royal wore a green dress by Italian label P.A.R.O.S.H teamed with Manolo Blahnik heels, a Sentaler coat and a scarf-handle bag by Montunas.

With its boat neckline, bow detail waist and knee-length pencil skirt, this dress is very ladylike, and we love the forest green hue.

Look familiar? This is actually a recycled piece that Meghan first debuted for her engagement interview!

Unfortunately it has now sold out, but you can actually buy a version by the brand in a slightly brighter green hue at Farfetch (click right).

Or since green is the colour to be seen in this season, there are plenty of options elsewhere to help you recreate the look in the shopping carousel.

Through a nationwide network of WellChild Children’s Nurses, home makeover projects and family support programmes, WellChild works to give this growing population of children and young people the best chance to thrive – properly supported at home, together with their families.

WellChild was one of the four charities chosen by The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to benefit from the generous donations made by the public on the occasion of the birth of their son, Archie Mountbatten Windsor.
