Pop star Kavana has revealed that his beloved sister has passed away.
Taking to Twitter, the singer, 41, wrote: ‘My Beautiful Sister and best friend passed away on Sunday after a long battle with Cancer. Appreciate every minute x.’
He also shared a sweet picture of the two of them together as a host of friends and fans sent supportive messages to him.

Former Corrie star and Kavana’s Big Reunion co-star Adam Rickitt wrote: ‘So sorry buddy…huge hugs and hope you are doing ok.’
And former pop singer and now actor Sean Maguire penned: ‘Mate. I’m so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine your pain.
‘Sending huge love to you and your family. May she Rest In Peace.’

Kavana, real name, Anthony Kavanagh was incredibly close to his sister and regularly shared pictures of themselves enjoying nights out together.
One beautiful picture, showed them enjoying some time together after his sister had just finished chemo in 2015.
He struck fame in the late Nineties with hit I Can Make You Feel Good, which peaked at number eight in the singles charts.

He re-emerged into the public gaze in 2014 as part of the supergroup 5th Story, during the second series of nostalgic music reality show The Big Reunion.
During the show he revealed he had fallen on hard times and had lived in a bedsit following his celebrity decline.
While in a 2014, he admitted in an interview with Heat magazine, that his good friend, the late singer Amy Winehouse, had urged him to tackle his addiction.
Kavana also briefly found success in the 2015 run of Celebrity Big Brother, exiting the house in the later rounds.
