They announced their split on Sunday with a joint Instagram statement.
Yet it appears Neil and Katya Jones may have split in secret a month ago as they set up their own businesses weeks ago, despite working on a joint business for 11 years.

Secret split: Neil and Katya Jones may have split in secret a month ago as they set up their own businesses weeks ago, despite working on a joint business for 11 years
The news has sparked speculation that the couple must already have broken up before setting up their individual businesses as they previously worked together, with their company The Joneses’ Ltd.
The couple have a shared website advertising their projects and co-owned a dance studio in Hampshire called The Joneses’ Studio.
The duo also worked together on Somnium: A Dancer’s Dream, a show directed by Neil which was shown at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre.
However, outside of their work on Strictly Come Dancing it appears the pair were struggling to pull in profits, with The Joneses LTD only having £4,136 in reserves last year.
MailOnline has contacted Neil and Katya’s representatives for comment.
Going their own ways: Neil launched Jonesey Ltd on July 31 whilst Katya followed suit and launched a business in her maiden name, Sokolova Ltd, on August 5
The Strictly professionals announced the end of their marriage on Sunday, in joint Instagram statements posted over the weekend.
The announcement came just 10 months after Katya was seen kissing her Strictly dance partner Seann Walsh in the street.
In their announcement, the couple penned: ‘Hi everyone, as our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so wee wanted to let you know some news.
‘After 11 years we have made the mutual decision to separate. We will always love each other. Just in a different way as friends.
‘This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
‘Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring projects.
‘No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other. We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends.
‘We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx’
Neil and Katya were dating for five years when they wed in an idyllic ceremony in London in 2013. The story of their romance played out in their stage show Somnium: A Dancer’s Dream, which they toured with until June this year.
Two of a kind: The news has sparked speculation that the couple must already have broken up before setting up their individual businesses as they previously worked together
