Heiress Amanda Hearst wears six wedding gowns, marries director Joachim Rønning at Hearst Castle

It was a fairytale wedding weekend for heiress Amanda Hearst, who made it official with her very own Prince Charming on Friday at the castle built by her great-grandfather, publishing tycoon William Randolph Hearst.

The socialite and philanthropist, 35, married 47-year-old Joachim Rønning at Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California on Saturday, saying ‘I do’ the director behind one of the most anticipated films of the year, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.

Guests at the four-day affair included Hearst’s childhood friends Nicky and Paris Hilton, Kick Kennedy and famous family members Patty Hearst and her daughter Lydia.

Of course, Cinderella would never had made it to the ball if not for her fairy godmother, who in Hearst’s case was stylist supreme Micaela Erlinger.

The pint-sized powerhouse worked with Hearst on her looks for the entire weekend, making sure that no glass slippers were misplaced in the process.

Hearst has put most of her time and energies into animal rights and sustainable fashion for the past decade.

Her debut onto the New York scene coincided with a renewed public interest in society queens.

The girls were even charted each week on the infamous Socialite Rank, where Hearst was a steady fixture despite her disinterest in the politics of it all.

The diminutive beauty was also a favorite of designers, with her Grace Kelly looks and even more enigmatic personality.

She worked behind the scenes at Town & Country and Marie Claire, and now runs Maison de Mode, which sells sustainable and ethically sourced home goods and wears.

Her stepfather Jay McInerney introduced her on Friday to the glittering crowd of notable names who ascended to the family’s castle.

Almost as radiant as the bride herself was mother Anne, a vision in lavender.

Guests dined on caviar and sipped on champagne during the Moroccan-themed reception, right by the property’s iconic pool.

And for their first dance the couple fittingly picked the Disney classic When You Wish Upon A Star.

The night ended with a vintage Rolls Royce whisking the couple off ahead of their decidedly hotter party on Saturday.

The heat was provided in large part by the bride’s childhood pal Paris, who played DK for the night.

The bride and groom’s love was on full display that night, thanks to hundreds of photos plastered along the wall.

Then, there were the dresses.

As per tradition, Hearst went with white for all five bridal looks.

And none was more striking than the Oscar de la Renta wedding gown the bride wore on Friday as she and Rønning exchanged vows in front of guests including Lauren Bush Lauren, her husband David, and the bride’s mother and stepfather, Anne Hearst and Jay McInerney.

For the big look, the bride and Erlanger selected an Oscar e la Renta gown from the Fall 2018 collection.

It was slightly altered however to be sustainable at the bride’s request,.

Erlanger added some extra sparkle with some vintage Fred Leighton jewels that were sewn into her hair and Aera New York.

Then it was time to swap the bridal gown for a slinky Galvan halter dress, which she wore to dance the night away friends.

And last, but most certainly not least, was a Giambattista Valli coture dress, which the bride wore as she made jer exit with her husband.

Rønning opted to keep things simple, wearing a Huntsman Saville Row tuxedo the entire night.

Then, on Saturday, the newlywed literally let her hair down at the Chateau Marmont, with guests trekking down to Los Angeles for one last party.

Hearst once again went with Oscar de la Renta.

Paris made an appearance at the party, where she lent a hand by manning the turntables for the night.

She had been unable to make the wedding one day prior, with her sister Nicky instead attending with their [parents, Rick and Kathy.

McInerney’s good friend Candace Bushnell was also on hand for the festivities, as was PR guru R Couri Hay.

Hearst will soon be making waves with a new public, and on Saturday tested the waters as she toasted her new husband in Norwegian.

He is a Hollywood heavyweight now, though largely works out of London.

And this weekend he got the one thing every director yearns for – a muse for life.
