In a teaser for Monday’s episode Katie says: ‘With Harvey going full time at school, I thought it would be nice to take him, Jett and Bunny on a little holiday as a treat.

‘It’s also a perfect time to see how Kris handles his first trip with three of the kids. The kids can be really hard work on holiday, but we do have a laugh.’

Despite making a good start to the trip by rustling up a delicious BBQ and by taking the kids shopping, it’s not long before there’s trouble in paradise when Katie and Kris clash over a family meal out.

‘Why do you encourage them? You shouldn’t encourage them,’ Kris says as Katie giggles, ‘well they do make me laugh.’

Already at the end of his tether, matters are made worse when dad Kieran Hayler FaceTime’s the kids to say goodnight during the meal. ‘Oh for f*** sake,’ Kris says.

He confronts the kids as they continue to climb on the furniture and talk back. ‘I haven’t even seen mummy all holiday, because I’ve been taking the kids shopping. Mummy has been sitting there with a cup of tea next to the pool,’ he says as Katie looks on.

Continuing to struggle with the kids, Kris loses his cool: ‘No more talking. Bunny, no more whispering. No ice cream for Bunny then!’ before turning to Katie once more, asking if she can talk to her kids and calm them down.

‘They’re fine to me,’ she says dismissively before encouraging them to pull faces at Kris and wind him up further.

He said to the camera: ‘This trip has been very, very testing for me and Kate. We’re with each other all the time, and it’s going to always cause stresses and the kids add to that.’

Katie on the other hand, is having none of Kris’ whinging and worries that their relationship is on the rocks.

‘I just feel like me and Kris are arguing a lot lately,’ she says. ‘I’d like to say he’s having a male period but men don’t have periods. When I met Kris we had good banter, got on really well and I don’t know why it’s changed. I can’t continue like this.’

After their tense confrontation, the pair patch things up the next day on a romantic yacht ride, where Katie declares she’s in love with him.

She said on Victoria Derbyshire: ‘This year he’s smashed eight iPads. For the first time ever I’m thinking he might have to go residential Monday to Friday.’ she admitted.

Katie explained that she has to consider the safety of her other four children Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jet, five and Bunny, four: ‘I’m really having to think about it but I hate it because he’s my life. The kids can be scared as he’s big so I have to think of them’, she admitted.

‘He’s missing out on his education, he knows if he kicks off in the morning the driver won’t take him to school. So he’s sussed that out and he wants to spend all his time with me.’

‘I haven’t got a carer. I hate it because he’s my life. I’ve never had respite.’

‘I’m literally on my own and it can be lonely, I don’t know any of the other parents. If anyone can give me advice or help.’
