At Archie Harrison’s christening, it was of course the adorable baby himself who stole the show. Along with his very stylish mum and grandma!
The Duchess of Sussex wowed in a white bespoke midi dress by Dior, whilst Doria Ragland donned a pretty peach custom-made ensemble.
It’s by Oscar De La Renta, who also created her mother-of-the-bride outfit. In fact, Doria’s wedding look was a mirror image mint green version of this collarless coat and shift dress combo.

For grandson Archie Mountbatten-Windsor’s christening, Ms Ragland chose a chic ensemble in a shade of peach that perfectly complemented the colours worn by members of the royal family.
The simple yet elegant look was finished with a pair of hoop earrings, a nose stud and a brooch.
While the designer was a mystery on the day, Oscar de la Renta yesterday released a statement revealing they had created the custom ensemble.
The post on the brand’s official Instagram account read: ‘Doria Ragland attended the christening of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, wearing a custom look from Oscar de la Renta.’
Followers praised the designer’s work. One wrote: ‘That women is so pure and regal.’
Confirmation: US-based label Oscar de la Renta, a favourite of celebrities, revealed it had designed Ms Ragland’s ensemble in a post shared on its official Instagram account yesterday
Another posted: ‘She looked amazing that day.’ A third added simply: ‘Beautiful outfit.’
Proving good taste runs in the family, the Duchess of Sussex was the picture of elegance in a cream Dior dress.
The new mother also recycled the same pair of £12,000 Cartier earrings previously worn as she married Prince Harry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle in May 2018, when she walked down the aisle in a stunning custom-made £200,000 Givenchy gown.

Meanwhile the Duchess of Cambridge chose to wear a pink frock by Stella McCartney.
Speaking about Kate’s choice, which she is thought to have had since 2009 and last worn to the Queen’s Christmas lunch in 2018, celebrity stylist Rochelle White told Femail: ‘It is nice to see Kate in something a bit brighter and shorter.
‘It was formal enough for the occasion but had a more on-trend feel. Kate is very much seen as more conservative when it comes to fashion and I think because this wasn’t such a formal occasion that she is used too, she could relax and take a bit more risk.’
