Hundreds of Dutch football fans turn Le Havre orange and dance in the street

A huge crowd of Dutch football fans were filmed dancing in the street ahead of their Women’s World Cup match against New Zealand this afternoon. 

Dressed in replica orange kits, hundreds of fans cheered and sang as they danced to the left and then to the right in an incredible display. 

A DJ belted out instructions to the crowd who were showing their support for their team in Le Havre, France

The Netherlands are the reigning European Champions and are one of the top teams at the tournament in France. 

Their match against New Zealand kicks off at 2pm today and is their first in the competition. 

The score is currently 0-0, ten minutes into the second half. 

Confidence seemed to be high ahead of the game, with the footage showing hundreds of fans enjoying a party atmosphere. 

The fans waved their Dutch flags with pride as they bounced along to the music. 

A mascot also joined in with the fun dancing at the front and centre of the crowd.

The crowd sang along with the DJ before he gestured to the left. 

Incredibly, almost every fan followed the instruction, before moving in the opposite direction when prompted by the DJ. 

Several onlookers pass by as the party continues, with some security staff shuffling backwards in surprise and alarm. 

Canada and Cameroon are the other teams in the group with the Netherlands and New Zealand.
