Holiday reps from Thomas Cook, Condor and First Choice are being trained to deal with potential terrorist attacks at hotels across Europe.
It comes after intelligence reports which indicate

A source told
‘But now it will include what to do if your hotel is attacked by masked people with guns.
‘Holidaymakers will be told to escape to their rooms if they can get there safely and quickly in the event of an attack and to barricade themselves in.’
Reps will also give out a list of nearby shelters to run to if an attack occurs on a beach.

Even though ISIS have lost their territory in Syria, the Jihadist group still poses a serious and immediate terror threat in the West.
Previous attacks on British holidaymakers include the 2015 attack in Tunisia in which 30 Britons were killed.
And on Easter Sunday, terrorists targeted churches and hotels in Sri Lanka in which Britons were among the nearly 300 killed.
The heads of MI6 and MI5 recently revealed that tourists were at risk in popular Mediterranean resorts including Spain, Turkey, Greece and Tenerife.
