Former Love Island star Amber recently appeared on ITV’s Lorraine where she gave her thoughts on this year’s crop of hopefuls who recently entered the villa.
When questioned about whether they know they are signing up for fame, she said: ‘It’s inevitable. They’re singing up for fame. We didn’t.
‘This year, they know what they’re going in there to do and they know what kind of money they’re going to be coming out to.’

When she left the villa Amber’s life completely changed, as the stars are invited to glitzy launches, parties and dinners following their exit from the show.
However Amber admitted that she had a very positive experience with the show’s aftercare team: ‘I can’t speak for everyone else but my personal experience of aftercare was unbelievably and amazing.’
She added that nobody is forcing contestants to apply, saying: ‘However, you do sign up for it yourself and you know what you’re signing up for. No one is holding a gun to your head.
Discussing life on the outside world, Amber confessed that life after the show isn’t all its cracked up to be as she revealed that jobs for reality stars are ‘very slim’ right now.

She said: ‘It looks like we’re living the dream but we’re not. Jobs are very slim for reality stars at the minute. You’ve got to think about it because your life changes completely.’
On this year’s line-up Amber said: ‘I think there’s a lot bigger personalities going in which I’m excited about. We’ve obviously got the British Kim Kardashian going in. She’s a normal sized girl.’
Amber said that she likes that Anna seems quite down to earth, adding: ‘She’s beautiful, she’s very confident and doesn’t take herself too seriously and that’s what I really like about her.’
