‘We bought this house to accommodate our really big family,’ said Rebecca, who purchased the property with Chris for $7.3million in March 2018.
‘The most important goal for this renovation was to create a house that ticked all the boxes in terms of what we needed for a functional family home,’ she added.
‘Bedrooms, bathrooms and enough living space so we weren’t on top of each other, but [also so] we could also really enjoy gorgeous family time together’.
Rebecca began the tour at the bottom of the grand spiral staircase, saying she still hopes to ‘modernise it slightly’ before they move in properly.

Rebecca then said that she and Chris plan to build an extension across the existing patio leading towards the tennis court, which will house a gym.
‘What we’re doing is building a gym which will run from one end to the other. Now, at this end of the gym, we’re going to build a tennis clubhouse,’ she explained.

Rebecca, a former Channel Nine weather girl, told 9Honey in February that they bought the house based on its distinctive ‘arches’.
‘The arches – that’s why we bought the house – I died at the arches. That was the main selling point for us in terms of design features,’ she said.
