‘It’s up to them what they do with the portrait’ the publication reported.

TV Tonight confirmed that the show’s production house Screentime and ABC have considered holding an art exhibition featuring Anh’s work, but there are no current plans in place.

In an interview with Who magazine’s podcast, Binge List, in July last year, Anh spoke about his hit show, and said the secret to its success is to make sure his guests feel as comfortable as possible.

‘We film the show over two to four hours, and so the guest just sits there and chats for that time,’ he revealed.

‘Over three hours of having a yarn, I’m bound to get some good stuff – I’ll put it down to that.

‘There’s no audience there – my guest doesn’t have to perform, there’s no pressure. It’s a very relaxed setting.’

According to a report by The Sydney Morning Herald, Anh only took up painting back in 2010, following the passing of a close friend.

He’s since been a finalist for the coveted Archibald Prize twice, which recognises excellence in portraiture, and won for People’s Choice in 2017.

Anh’s Brush With Fame returns 8pm Wednesday on ABC
