He tossed a lightweight hoodie over his shoulder, later placing the garment on his head, over his hat. Keeping a low profile, the actor topped his look off with little sunglasses.

It looked like a pleasant bonding moment for the actor and his comic book writer dad, who has been involved in the underground comics world for decades.

George has been frequently linked to Robert Crumb, the late American Splendor creator Harvey Pekar and the late Dori Seda, best known for her underground work in San Francisco in the 1980s. He also was a publisher of the underground comics Yama Yama-Ugly Head.

George met Leo’s mother, Irmelin, while attending college in New York together in the mid-60s. They moved to Los Angeles where Leo was born in 1974.

Even though they split shortly after little Leo was born, his parents committed themselves to raising their son together, so they decided to live in adjacent homes.

Leonardo was raised mostly by his mother, who remarried and held down several jobs, and graduated from John Marshall High School in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles.

Leo is gearing up for the release of his sure-to-be blockbuster Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Though many have pegged the Tarantino picture as a film about the Manson family because the killer is depicted in the film, producers explained why that’s not the case during a chat with Entertainment Weekly.

‘That’s one of the big misconceptions to clarify,’ producer David Heyman said.

Fellow producer Shannon McIntosh chimed in, continuing: ‘It’s about the loss of innocence that came about in 1969 with the Manson family…

‘It’s the three classes of Hollywood,’ said Heyman. ‘There’s the high Hollywood of Sharon (Tate, played by Margot Robbie), the declining star of Rick (DiCaprio), and there’s Cliff (Brad Pitt), who lives farther out and with more humble means.’

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood boasts a star-studded cast, also featuring the likes of Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, late actor Luke Perry, Kurt Russell, Lena Dunham, Timothy Olyphant, Rumer Willis and more.

The film is slated for a July 26 release.
