Post Malone is on tour in Australia, where he is being supported by Jaden Smith.

Over the past week, he has performed in Melbourne and Brisbane. He begins a run of shows at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Tuesday.

While performing in Brisbane on Saturday, Post Malone delivered a heartfelt speech to fans before singing his last song of the night, Congratulations.

Reflecting on his rise to fame, he said: ‘I turned 18 and moved to LA and I made  White Iverson [his debut single] then and my life changed overnight. And that’s thanks to all y’all crazy motherf**kers.

‘Even then, there were people who wanted to talk down to me, talk s**t to me, call me a one-hit wonder.

‘But that’s OK, because I see those same motherf**kers that were talking s**t nowadays and they always say congratu-f**king-lations.’
