Caroline Flack ‘spends £1,000 on lavish dog retreat for her pooch Ruby’

She is set to spend another long hot summer in Mallorca filming Love Island.

And while Caroline Flack is soaking up the sun and stirring the drama between a new set of attractive new contestants, her pet pooch Ruby will reportedly be living in the lap of luxury back home in the UK.

The Love Island host, 39, has apparently splashed out more than £1,000 on a lavish dog hotel stay for Ruby, where they offer Range Rover transport, Classical Music relaxation sessions and Evian water fountains.

Caroline’s French bulldog Ruby regularly stays at Little Lord Barkley dog hotel whenever she works away and her family are unable to dog-sit, reports The Sun

The luxury doggy retreat, which reportedly costs around £80 per night, claims to be the only completely cage-free dog hotel in the country as the pets are able to get some rest whenever suits them in the evening.

The hotel, situated in leafy Surrey, is a converted farmhouse boasting an open plan floor space and high ceilings for the dogs to run around or relax depending on their mood.

Once the furry creatures have worked up an appetite they are cooked Harrods and Fortnum and Mason food by an in-house chef.

A source told the website: ‘Ruby loves it there and Caroline is reassured with regular videos and updates.

‘It will cost a lot to keep Ruby there during her Love Island stint so she hopes she can share responsibility with family. Plus she’ll be nipping back every week.’

Caroline bought Ruby during her relationship with former fiance Andrew Brady, however she has maintained custody of the pooch when they called time on their relationship.
