She lost her late husband, Peter Baikie, to a rare form of cancer in November 2017.
And now Angela Bishop has revealed that she often breaks down in tears when asked about Peter.
The veteran reporter, 51, told

Angela admitted that she sometimes gets upset when she attends events that Peter used to love, including the Australian Grand Prix.
However the Studio 10 star said that she puts on a brave face, cries, and gets back to what she’s doing.
‘I don’t try to keep the grief in when it hits, otherwise I’ll do myself an injury,’ Angela said.

‘You’ve got to go and find somewhere to have a little cry,’ Angela said.
‘I do it a lot in the traffic in the car, or in the car park at work.’
She also admitted to the publication that she and Peter, and their daughter Amelia, 11, will always be a ‘team.’
Peter died in November 2017 at the age of 54.

The pair met in 2002 at a bar and married in 2005.
Angela – who is the daughter of former politician Bronwyn Bishop – told
‘All the way through Pete’s illness and after his death, talking about it is really what you have to do,’ Angela said.
‘If Amelia had any questions, I’d answer them. She knows she can talk to me about absolutely anything, and me to her too. It really helped.’
