When contacted for comment, Danny told MailOnline: ‘I am very sorry for posting these immature comments to a friend when I was 19-years-old.
‘It’s not language I would ever use now and I’d like to apologise to anyone I’ve offended.’

The actor first joined the soap in 2017, becoming a part of the Taylor family before he embarked on an affair with Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).
He has taken part in a number of important storylines in the soap, and will soon be part of a mission to save Louise Mitchell from kidnappers.

The revelation comes after Emmerdale star Shila Iqbal was fired from her role as Aiesha Richards on the soap over her historic racist and homophobic tweets.
Shila, 24 was dismissed by ITV on Wednesday last week when the tweets, shared six years ago while she was at college, were unearthed and infuriated TV executives.
In one Twitter posting, she wrote: ‘Do not tweet me you gay.’ In another, which further outraged the show’s bosses, she wrote: ‘I know too many noisy n****s’ and followed it with a sad face emoji.
The tweets revealed by Mail Online are part of a series of hateful messages posted by the actress and passed to ITV.

The actress, who sent the insults when she was 19 and attending college in Rochdale, has apologised for her remarks and deleted her entire Twitter account.
She declared she had let people down, but claimed she herself had become the target for anti-Islamic online attacks.
She said: ‘I am terribly sorry and take full responsibility for my use of such inappropriate language…
‘The only consideration I would ask is that I have recently received hateful tweets telling me that as a Muslim my Emmerdale role means that I am ‘committing sinful acts, promoting sin and deliberately going against the Quran.
‘We live in sensitive times for members of all communities and especially those in multi-racial Rochdale where I grew up.

‘I regret that I too have let people down by the use of such language, albeit six years ago. I, like everyone else, have a responsibility about the language I have used on social media as well as in conversation.’
Insiders tell MailOnline: ‘The nature of the banter that went on in Rochdale six years ago. That’s how everybody – straight, gay, all colours spoke.’
A representative for Shila declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.
While a representative for ITV confirmed the news, writing: ‘As a consequence of historic social media posts Shila Iqbal has left her role as Aiesha Richards on Emmerdale.
‘The programme took the decision not to renew her contract as soon as these posts were brought to the company’s attention.’

Shila’s scandal comes after ITV were forced to weather another racism storm in 2016 when Marc Anwar was fired from Coronation Street for a shock rant on social media.
Marc, who played the role of Sharif Nazir in Corrie, referred to Indians as b******s’ and ‘p***-drinking c***s’ on Twitter.
On his account he also wrote: ‘Why the f*** do Pakistani artists want to work in f***face India? Do you love money so much?’
It prompted a furious backlash on social media, with many describing themselves as ‘disgusted’ and others calling for the rant to be reported for a hate crime.
