Lena Headey hits out at trolls by telling them to ‘f*** off and unfollow’ her

Lena Headey hit out at trolls who have criticised her for expressing her opinions on politics and issues such as climate change on Instagram.

On Wednesday, the Game Of Thrones star, 45, told the critics they could ‘f*** off and unfollow’ her if they were offended by her sharing her thoughts on the topics.

Posting a short video on the social media platform, she began by joking about her clear complexion: ‘Hi instaworld it’s me, look, without make-up aah! S*** everyone panic.

‘I just want to say, when I post my views, I don’t see myself as being highly political, I just see myself as a human being.

‘I care about the climate, I care about my children and their future, I care about my friends and their children and their future, I care about the crisis going on all over the world, the humanitarian crisis.’

Lena went on: ‘I give a f*** and if that offends you or you think actors have no place in the world to have an opinion… f*** off and unfollow me and I shall not weep.’

The actress previously told online trolls to ‘go f*** themselves’ after they criticised her for not wearing make-up, after she sported a clear complexion in a video.

Lena shared a video where she urged fans to watch her new indie film Fighting With My Family, which she was on the press circuit to promote.

Feeling the need to complain about her appearance, one user told her: ‘Don’t record yourself without makeup again’, while another wrote ‘shame’.

In response, Lena shared an image of the users IDs in question, and hit back in the caption: ‘I shall continue to not wear make up. Go f*** your self.’

Lena is set to return to her villainous role as Cersei Lannister in the upcoming final season of Game Of Thrones.

Fans of the show have been waiting since 2017 for a new instalment of their beloved show – the biggest gap yet since the HBO drama began in 2011.

The show is set to return to TV in the US on Sunday April 14, simulcasting with a UK broadcast in the early hours of Monday April 15 on Sky Atlantic.

The final season will only have six episodes, but it’s thought that each episode will be longer in length than those in previous seasons.

Radio Times states: ‘It seems likely that Cersei will recruit legendary mercenary army The Golden Company, a group who appeared in an unused storyline from George RR Martin’s novels and who were referenced multiple times in season seven.’
