The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall received a warm welcoming ceremony when they arrived in St Kitts and Nevis on Thursday.

As Prince Charles, 70, and Camilla, 71, made their way down the stairs of the plane they both looked windswept, but happy to be on the Caribbean island.

A guard of honour was waiting to greet them as they began the latest leg of their Caribbean tour with a handshake from the Queen’s representative, Governor General Sir S W Tapley Seaton.

The couple both dressed for the weather, with Camilla in a blue kaftan over white loose trousers and Charles in a beige suit.
