A Texas teenage girl was allegedly fatally stabbed by another teen girl after weeks of feuding on social media.
Authorities said Kaitlin Leonor Castilleja, 18, of San Antonio, Texas, was fatally stabbed Friday at about 1am after she and Vivian Foster, 18, confronted a 16-year-old high school student outside the teen’s home, according to My San Antonio.
Police said that while the three teens were fighting, the 16 year old stabbed Castilleja and Foster.

Castilleja was said to have been mortally wounded by the unnamed teen, while Foster received superficial cuts.
Police said that after the attack, the 16 year old called authorities to report that she had been assaulted in her driveway when she returned home from work and noted that Castilleja and Foster had been sending her social media messages ‘stating they want to fight her.’
At the hospital, Castilleja — who was later declared dead at 2am — and Foster were said to have told police that they were ‘stabbed after “jumping” a girl at her house,’ according to authorities.
Castilleja and Foster apparently knew the 16-year-old girl because they attended San Antonio’s James Madison High School together. While the 16 year old is still a student, the older girls graduated in 2018.
Officers arriving at the 16 year old’s home that night found the ‘murder weapon’ at the scene, according to the preliminary police report.
The 16 year old was then arrested and charged with homicide in connection with Castilleja’s fatal stabbing. She is said to be book into a juvenile detention facility.
Family member said Castilleja (pictured) and the 16 year old had been arguing over Castilleja’s ex-boyfriend on social media prior to the physical confrontation

Castilleja’s aunt said that her niece and the 16-year-old girl had been engaged in a lengthy argument on social media prior to physical confrontation.
Marie Fernandez told WCVB that Castilleja ‘isn’t able to give you her side of the story, but it’s been ongoing bullying on both sides,’ adding that ‘There’s so many factors that have contributed to this, and at the end of the day, whether it was wrong, in all aspects my niece had no intentions of hurting anyone.’
Fernandez told the San Antonio Express-News that Castilleja and the 16 year old were supposedly fighting over Castilleja’s ex-boyfriend and said that her niece was ‘lured’ to the house and ‘had no chance.’
Fernandez said that the attack was videotaped and asked ‘What kind of person does that?’
In a letter sent to James Madison High School students’ parents, school officials said that Castilleja was an employee of the North East Independent School District’s Kids Involvement Network, an after-school enrichment program for kindergarten to eighth grade students, My San Antonio reported.
The 16 year old is being detained until her hearing, which is expected to be next week. San Antonio Police are continuing to investigate the incident as a homicide, according to KENS 5.
