BRITs 2019: Pregnant Gemma Atkinson debuts her baby bump on the red carpet

She announced her pregnancy last month.

And Gemma Atkinson hit her first red carpet since revealing the joyous news as she attended The BRIT Awards 2019 held at The O2 on Wednesday.

The soap starlet, 34, was not joined by her partner Gorka Marquez on the outing, but turned heads in her own right as she entered the venue.

Sheathing her baby bump, the radio presenter donned a figure-hugging little black dress which was one shouldered and fell just below the knee.

Keeping her accessories simple, the blonde beauty donned a pair of black court heels with pink and green embellishment.

Gemma completed the look with a pair of gold hooped earrings, that peeked out through her glossy golden locks, which were styled in loose curls.

The Brit Awards are hosted by Jack Whitehall for the second year in a row, and sees P!nk, 39, being honoured for her career with the Outstanding Contribution To Music prize.

Leading the nominations are Dua Lipa, 23, and fellow singer, Anne-Marie, 27.

The New Rules hitmaker has the most nods out of all the BRIT nominees for the second consecutive year after receiving five in 2018.

Last year saw the pop princess take home two prizes; British Female and British Breakthrough Artist.

This year, she’s been nominated four times; British Single for hits IDGAF and One Kiss and British Video, also for the same songs, at the prestigious bash.

Anne-Marie, 27, also has four nods, receiving two for her hit 2002 – and she’s nominated in the prestigious categories of British Female and British Album.

The evening will kick off with a special performance from Hollywood star Hugh Jackman in celebration of The Greatest Showman.

Jack Whitehall said of hosting the ceremony once again: ‘What am I looking forward to most about hosting the BRITs?

‘I know what it is now, I know the game, you need to be able to think on your feet, throw a few punches, and embrace the chaos.

‘That’s what you need to do – embrace the chaos, not fight it.’
