Four people have died and at least two are wounded after a tourist plane and a helicopter collided in the Alps over
The aircraft collided in the valley of La Thuile, in Valle d’Aosta on Friday afternoon.
It is unclear how exactly how many passengers were on board, but two rescue helicopters were dispatched from Turin to the crash site at the Rutor glacier.
The National Alpine Rescue Corps (CNSAS) broke the news on Twitter, adding that it had intervened on the spot.
The maximum emergency procedure was activated at Aosta Hospital, with three operating theaters and rooms six intensive care units ready to receive patients.
