Manchester City 6-1 Southampton: Raheem Sterling hits brace as Pep Guardiola’s side go back top

Raheem Sterling hit a brace as Manchester City returned to the top of the Premier League with a 6-1 win at home to Southampton.

An early own goal from Wesley Hoedt set City on their way, with Sergio Aguero, David Silva subsequently getting on the scoresheet for Pep Guardiola‘s side before Sterling scored twice.

City remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season and, with 33 goals, are by far the division’s most prolific scorers.
