Madonna fans mistake her new carbon facial roller for a sex toy

She has released her very own gadget in her bid to combat the effects of aging.

But Madonna fans were convinced the pop queen had released something of a more saucy nature as she debuted her new carbon facial roller earlier this week – with many confusing the device with a sex toy.

The 60-year-old singer left fans baffled as she took to Instagram to unveil the $200 black, double-headed device, which is the latest product from her luxury MDNA SKIN beauty brand.

According to the website, the Beauty Roller is the first skin-contouring breakthrough to harness the benefits of renewable Ultra-Infrared Energy and is powered by pure, high-density carbon.

The product, which was innovated by Madonna’s renowned dermatologist Paul Jarrod Frank, claims to give users lifted, luminous skin, while also helping to tone the face’s natural contours.

Sharing the product on Instagram, the Holiday hitmaker wrote: ‘Calling All Queens Who Want to Slayyyyyyyyyyyyy. The first of its kind. Infrared Heat!  Carbon Facial Roller!’

But fans instantly confused the device with a sex toy, as one quipped: ‘Lol that looks kinky.’

Another commented: ‘Jesus that thing looks like a sex toy,’ before a third chimed: ‘Looks like a sex toy to me.’

A fourth mocked: ‘Just showed my hubby this and he was like….Well it looks like a sex toy!’

But the gadget’s unusual design is seemingly part of its magic, as it’s claimed the oversized dual-sculpting carbon spheres hug every curve of the face and body for head-to-toe contouring that lifts and firms skin while promoting lymphatic drainage, optimal product penetration and tension relief.

Speaking about how she uses the gadget, Madonna told Allure: ‘I start at my chin and on the right side of my jawline, and always in upward motion, all the way up into where my cheekbone starts.

‘I just go up like 10 times on one side, 10 times on the other side. Sometimes I use it when I’m just feeling tired, and I don’t have time to have a facial. Other times, I use it when I have a headache, when I have a hangover, when I have tight muscles.

‘I use it for cellulite on the back of my legs, use it to massage my quads when I’m tired from a workout, muscle soreness, things like that.’
