Europe 8-4 USA: Bjorn’s men extend Ryder Cup lead on second morning

The opening pairing of Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia held off a comeback by Brooks Koepka and Tony Finau to triumph 2&1.

Paul Casey and Tyrell Hatton defeated Dustin Johnson and Rickie Fowler 3&2, while Tiger Woods’ poor Ryder Cup record got even worse as he and a below-par Patrick Reed were defeated 4&3 by Francesco Molinari and Tommy Fleetwood.
