An individual was taken into custody late Sunday after they climbed over the security barrier outside the White House, federal officials said.

The Secret Service confirmed one person has been arrested. They were not identified. The break-in occurred around 8:10pm near Street Northwest and Alexander Hamilton Place.

Officials have not provided details on a possible motive for the attempted break-in.

The Sunday arrest comes less than two months after a man jumped the security barrier at the White House and demanded Secret Service officials to ‘shoot’ him repeatedly.

The incident happened near the bike rack near Sherman Park outside the White House.

The 2010 incident resulted in Hunyh being banned from the White House for a period of six months.

His arrest affidavit said the second time he arrived he informed officials he was having dinner with President Trump.
