ISLAMABAD (AP) – Pakistani officers say gunmen killed three police in an in a single day assault, whereas a suicide bomber wounded three Chinese language engineers and three paramilitary guards in a separate incident.
Faizullah Faraq, a spokesman for the native authorities of the northern Gilgit Baltistan territory, says one of many gunmen who attacked the police put up was killed within the ensuing shootout late Friday. One other two police had been wounded within the assault.
The suicide bomber struck close to a bus carrying Chinese language engineers from Baluchistan to Karachi on Saturday. Hashim Ghilzai, a senior official within the area, confirmed the six wounded.
Militants in Pakistan perform near-daily assaults, primarily focusing on safety forces. A lot of the assaults have been linked to the Pakistani Taliban and different Islamic extremists.
